My name is Kai Hatcher, an artist and arts writer from Long Island, NY. I have a BA in History and an MA in Art History & Criticism with a focus on black contemporary installation art, sculpture and photographic practices that explore site specificity and embodiment. More broadly I am interested in interactive media as well as sound and materiality. As an artist, I work across mediums such as ink, oil pastel, acrylic paint and digital mediums. My work explores critical legibilities.
